China, officially the People's Republic of China, is a country in East Asia and the world's most populous country, with a population of around 1.404 billion in 2017.Covering approximately 9,600,000 square kilometers, it is the third or fourth largest country by total area.

1. Zhuhai-Macao Bridge



                                                                


China has the world's longest sea-crossing bridge. The Hongkong to Zhuhai-Macao bridge was opened to traffic in October 2018. 

2. Great Wall of China


Walk along parts of the over 8,850km/5,500 miles long Great Wall which once was the border of the old Chinese empire. The wall stretches across China from the Korean border into the Gobi desert. This is the longest wall in the world and newer archeological findings report that the entire defence works including the Great Wall and all its branches stretches over 21,000km/13,000 miles.

3. Yangtze River


China has the longest river in asia. It is the fourth longest river in the world, the Yangtze River, which reaches 5,797km (3,602 miles) in length. It also has the sixth longest, the Yellow River, stretching 4,667km (2,900 miles).

4. Gobi desert


The Gobi Desert which stretches over China and  Mongolia is the largest desert in Asia. It is a vast, arid region in northern China and southern Mongolia. It's known for its dunes, mountains and rare animals such as snow leopards and Bactrian camels. In the Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park, the Khongoryn Els sand dunes are said to sing when the wind blows. The park also features the deep ice field of Yolyn Am canyon

5. Shangai

Shanghai is currently the world’s largest city, with 24 million people living in the city proper and a metropolitan population of 35 million.

6. Flavours


Chinese food has the largest variety of flavors. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the flavors of sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and spicy must be balanced.

7. Martial Arts


Martial arts are world renowned and began in China. They were developed from ancient farming and hunting methods.

8. Three Gorges Dam


The Three Gorges Dam is a hydroelectric gravity dam that spans the Yangtze River by the town of Sandouping, in Yiling District, Yichang, Hubei province, China. The Three Gorges Dam has been the world's largest power station in terms of installed capacity since 2012.
